little update
from spain
ive been organizing my pictures
and posting lots

im not sick anymore
which is nice
but i did a pretty good job of geting everyone else sick
im trying to plan a trip to keele for my b-day
so i can see everyone again
i should be doing homework
but im not having a very spanish day
and i only have class 2 days this week!

so i had a really bad headcold last week
one that im still getting over actually
and i was talking about my ailments (in spanish) with my hostmom
and after a while she asked me
"estas constupada?"
to which i calmly replied "no ive been drinking a lot of juice"
she looked at me really strangely and changed the subject
constupada means conjested, as in sinuses... |

hey hey im in spain
classes havent started yet
im on a group excursion traveling all around spain
and im having a blast
spain is beautiful and im on a wonderful program
i should start posting pictures as soon as i figure out internet stuff
and the spanish is comming to me
...slowly
but my host mother is a sweetheart and totally understanding
so im not worried
i hope everyone back home is doing alright
and ill try to stay in touch

i moved back in with my parents.
my lease was up and its impractical to get an apartment for a month
theyre is still something very childish feeling
about moving in with my parents
last night was my first official night back

just a few days left now in jolly old england.
it seems like ive only been here for a heartbeat
and now i'm leaving
i'll spare my readers the sentimental bullshit
and just list off a few things that i'm really going to miss
-my friends i made here
-galaxy chocolate
-british slang
-the people in general here
-cheesy british pop
-greasy chips and cheese after a night out
-my friends
-the disgustingly beautiful green grass and country sides
-people
-british accents
-being foreign
-all the wonderful homos i've met
i guess in conclusion i'm really going to miss the people most
they've all been so wonderful to me
i always have fun when i go out
and they're all so cute and british
or irish
or american
or canadian
but they're all so lovely
hopefully ill visit next year
i'm excited to go home
but i don't want to get too caught up in going home
that i take for granted
